Gardening has been a hobby of mine for over twenty five years. It was in the mid 1990's after moving to Arizona that gardening in the desert's extreme 115F temperatures became more of a challenge. Even though the Sonoran Desert is a delicate eco-system, it is capable of sustaining over 2200 edible plant species.
Lived in Indonesia, Singapore, Australia and New Zealand for ten years.
Attended Brisbane Institute of Art for two years in Australia.
Studied Literature, Writing and Film (BA) at Arizona State University.
In 1996, became a Certified Clinical Hypnotherapist and have continued to specialize in overcoming fears, weight and stress management and smoking cessation.
Writing Areas include: Creative Non-fiction Environmental Writing, Portraits and Memoir Writing, Travel Writing, Scriptwriting and Garden Journaling.
